The new border router and monitoring server hardware has been installed in the data centre and both appear to be operating correctly.
The new border router provides a little bit more separation for the AFOYI data network from our upstream providers, allows us to be more flexible in who we purchase bandwidth from and will also allow some interesting things to happen in the future, such as rolling out IPv6.
The new monitoring server is for the Remote Monitoring service that AFOYI is launching. More details available from the Monitoring page, available under 'Services'.
